Day #9... I am thankful for music.
Day #10... I am thankful for the ability to participate in choir.
New Moon.Okay, okay, I know. Sissiest vampires around. The entire vampire aspect (i.e. 98% of the books) is.... shall we say, off the wall?
Well.
Let's clarify things.
I read the books about 2 years ago. I loved them. Loved loved loved them. Couldn't get enough. Then I started talking about the series with people and realized... Hey, Edward has no personality. Plus he's a pedophile. Bella is a wimp. You can't read a page in any of these books that doesn't freak out over how "beautiful" Edward is. Jacob is the only character that actually has depth. Also. What the hell kind of vampires SPARKLE? (actually that one had always struck me as stupid.) And what vampires are... *chokes* VEGETARIAN?
Sooo... the books... ended up not so great in my mind. The storyline is okay, if not majorly weird, but they're decent easy readers.

Also.
When the movie's cast was first announced... Neisha's heart was CRUSHED. I didn't like any of the actors for any of the parts other than Emmett and Alice and of course, Taylor Lautner as Jacob.
How could I not love Taylor Lautner after watching him be the saving grace of The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl? Plus he was REALLY cute. Juuuuuuuuuust saying. And Jacob always has been my favorite character. Soooo. It worked well.
Anyway... Let's not even dawdle on the subject of the FAILURE that was the first movie. Ugh. I was so upset. They left out the meadow scene, for crying out loud! That's the best part of the whole damn book!
Again, ANYWAYYYY.
So when this time of year rolled around, knowing, thanks to the obsessive girls at my school, that it was coming out in November, I got a permanent set of the chills. I knew I had to see it with family. I had no choice.
I walked in expecting to be highly upset.
And walked out...
GIDDY.
Oh dear lord, I loved it!!! *smacks self repeatedly*
The new director and the *cough cough* bigger budget with a more successful script adaptation of the book= ridiculously amazing movie. They took all the good parts of the book and left out most of the fluff.
Give or take the ridiculously cheesy shots in some parts, I was amazed.
I seriously recommend watching it. Even if you hated the first movie. Just... do it. Wow.
Song of the day!!Unbound (The Wild Ride) by Avenged Sevenfold off of their album, Critical Acclaim.
Sometimes I forget how deep and inspirational they can be... especially since my favorite song by them is about murder, necrophilia, and possession. *shrugs* I don't know how that works.
Here's a taste:
"Some live so wrong, with what we do is each his own
Living in fear, end the shame for countless years
I never lived in fear I knew I'd die another day
I never viewed my life as something... slipping away"
Feature~♥Hmm.... What can I feature today? I think I'll feature...

. Haha.

I love her.
Anywho.
It's bedtime.
♥ Au revoir!
